 Focusing on Scotland’s rich tapestry, we have created a range of events specifically designed to feature Scotland’s best.
Highland games, Tartan, Golf, Bag pipes and of course whisky are the obvious ingredients but with all things it is the recipe which counts.
The list below gives you some basic outline ideas. As with all events offered by The Entertainment Company, all elements can be altered and expanded to suit your specific requirements.
 As with all theme events, it is the initial impact which will set the scene for the whole event. A Grade 1 piper to pipe your guests into dinner, table centres featuring Scottish heathers, tartan wall hangings and a kilted host to welcome your guests are just some of the elements we can use to set the theme.
Add traditional Scottish fare, a Haggis and a dram or two and we are well on the way to introducing your guests to Scotland’s real asset, its hospitality!
 After dinner, the Ceilidh band and dancers will lead you through the dances as well as demonstrating the more traditional Highland dances.
To round off the evening in the grand style, why not have our Pipe band close the evening with the ceremony of "Beating the Retreat".
 From Scottish Country dance bands comprised of accordion, fiddle & drums who will "call" the dances and lead guests in the traditional Scottish Country dances to more contemporary "Rock-Ceilidh" bands featuring guitars and keyboards.
The word Ceilidh roughly translates as, a lively social get-together with music and dancing. But modern Ceilidhs can take many forms. The emphasis here is definitely on the "Rock" aspect to the music.

 The attraction of a private Highland Games is that it can be tailored to the clients individual needs, particularly with regard to the scale of the Games and the level of participation.
The Games can take two formats. Firstly, with lots of demonstration and a few people from the group having a go, and secondly with a competition involving everyone. This works well with sales incentive groups.
No event at a historic venue would be complete without our ferocious clan warriors. These authentically dressed characters will provide not only a great photo opportunity for your guests but also a fearsome “Clan Clash” of action stunt movie quality. Historically accurate, authentic weapons of the period are used to recreate spectacular sword and axe fight sequences. Indoors (space allowing) or out, this in an element not to be missed.
In addition to the clansmen, we can also provide other period performers ranging from, jesters, jugglers, musicians and magicians.
Period dress can also be provided for guests and catering staff.
