These are a small sample of the team building challenges offered by The Entertainment Company. Some require more space than others, and some are better suited to specific team sizes. Please call us to discuss your requirements in more detail.

Elevate the Corporation

Your task is to prevent the corporation from sinking towards insolvency. One way to do this is to help the corporation’s people to create support from its rock solid resources like information and it’s flexible resources like finances. Using the facilities provided within each dept, keep the company afloat! (Use of resources, planning, lateral thinking, communications).

Product packaging and protection (ideally, outdoor event)

Your company has been asked to design a complete packaging system for a new fragile product. Packaging must be created from the only two available materials, as they are the only ones resistant to the adverse influences of the product. The group with the system which withstands multiple drops from increasing heights without any damage to the product will win the contract for mass production. (Brainstorming, use of resources, lateral thinking, communications)

Completing Company-wide Projects

Your seven small offices have different responsibilities for various information elements within the company. Passage of information is restricted to certain pre-determined pathways (networks). All departments are required to complete as many projects as possible in the time available. (Time management, communication and co-operation)

Computer Disinfectant (ideally, outdoor event)

Your company’s computer server contains a piece of software, which is infected with a virus. Your task is to remove the virus and the offending software without crashing the server. (Team work, co-ordination, co-operation and system thinking).

Rescuing stranded Motorists

Your team manage an Auto Club Call Centre. In this challenge, a member is stranded at an unknown location. Your task is threefold. Establish the best vehicle and driver from your available database, despatch them to the general area of the breakdown and finally locate and rescue the stranded member. (Human resource management, co-ordination, problem solving and communication).

Make the journey from mediocrity to excellence through a pattern of success and setbacks. Quality is defined as the fewest setbacks in the shortest elapsed time. (Teamwork, trust, co-operation, communication, leadership, decision making and planning)
