There is no better way to enjoy Edinburgh than on foot. A tour of the “Old
Toun” provides a fascinating insight into the history and background of “Auld
Reekie”.
“The Old Toun Treasure Trail” has been specially created to ensure that
delegates visit all the main elements of The Royal Mile.
Teams are despatched from their hotel or a pre-arranged starting point and
divided into teams. Each team has a different 'Clue Route' and rotates
around the various locations before returning to the starting point.
The Trail Facilitator is on hand and the beginning and end (as well as appearing
at various points along the way), to ensure a smooth and effective event.
If there is a particular aspect such as Communication, Leadership, Team Building
then it can be presented in that way. Similarly particular buildings or
historical aspects can be featured.
The usual duration is 2 – 2.5 hours. (After that it’s search parties!)
